At monthly meetings, a speaker or special event is featured to provide ostomy-related information and/or social activities. Attendees learn from qualified professionals and there is ample time to socialize and learn from each other.
All meetings are open to individuals with ostomies; their families, friends and caregivers; medical professionals; and the general public. There is no admission charge. Free parking. Location information is posted below.
Events are posted to the website and in our newsletter.
Annual Events include:
- Ostomy Fair
- Training of Personal Support Workers and Allied Health Care providers
- Pack-up for Friends of Ostomates Worldwide Canada – We participate several times a year with Friends of Ostomates Worldwide Canada. We pack boxes of ostomy supply donations that are destined for people in need from countries around the world. St. Catharines is the Canadian hub for this service.
